Newbie

I have to admit, my brain’s been running on hyper-drive ever since I got the urge to start this blog. So much to think about, plan, install, uninstall, bang head on keyboard, repeat. This monster world of blogging is a bit intimidating for a guy like me just starting out, but there seems to be a lot of support and friendly bloggers out there who started pretty much the same way as I.

I had to think long and hard about starting up a brand new blog, especially since it’s almost impossible to get the word out amongst the millions of other excellent blogs.  Thinking about my son and how I’m a rookie dad just learning the ropes each and every day helps me to continue and keep at it. Even if this blog never gets going to where I’d like it to be, at least I can say I kept a journal of some of my best thoughts and memories. This one’s for you Hiro. You’re my heerow.
